About Darrell

Darrell is a veteran educator who has taught nationally and internationally for public and private schools. Even before he stepped foot into the classroom, Darrell recognized a significant gap in education that needed to be addressed. He observed a lack of essential elements, particularly in secondary education, which prompted him to take action and seek solutions. Among the critical missing components were professional development opportunities for educators and comprehensive career exploration for students.

Darrell is the founder of The We Are All Educators Organization (The W.A.A.E.),a professional development and career mentorship program that specializes  in showing individuals the way (The W.A.A.E.) to their desired career through information, skills, experience and exposure. The W.A.A.E. has employed over 100 High School teenagers in DC Metropolitan area.

As one of the founders of The Tenth Charity, Darrell is a Christian man who is deeply committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others through education and empowerment. As an educator, mentor, and founder, Darrell's dedication to shaping the lives of young minds goes beyond the confines of the classroom. His belief in the power of education to uplift communities aligns seamlessly with The Tenth Charity's core values. Together with his fellow founder, he envisions a world where education, faith, engagement, and economic empowerment converge to create a lasting legacy of hope and opportunity.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Darrell is a man of unwavering faith and compassion, guided by Christian principles in all aspects of his life. His commitment to the Christian mission of The Tenth Charity is a testament to his strong belief in serving others and making a positive impact on the world.
